Dr. Sehat Sutardja, Ph.D., co-founded Marvell Technology Group Ltd. in February 1995. Dr. Sutardja is a co-owner at SSWD LLC. He is a Certified Radio Repair Technician and is designing components and systems. He is leading proponent of higher energy-efficiency standards for consumer electronics. He is working with officials and industry leaders in both the United States and China to establish standards that could produce significant cost and carbon savings. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Marvell Technology Group Ltd. since February 1995 until April 5, 2016 and served as its President since February 1995 until July 14, 2013. He served as the President, the Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. until April 5, 2016. He served as an Executive Chairman of the Board at Marvell Technology Group Ltd. from 2003 to May 2016 and previously served as its Co- Chairman from 1995 to 2003. Dr. Sutardja serves as a Member of Advisory Board of ICCP Venture Partners, Inc. He served as a Director at Marvell Technology Group Ltd. from February 1995 to November 8, 2016. For his relentless innovation, he has been awarded more than 440 patents, recognized as the Inventor of the Year by the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association and has been named a Fellow of IEEE. In 2012, he was awarded the Indonesian Diaspora Lifetime Achievement Award for Global Pioneering and Innovation at the first-ever Congress of Indonesian Diaspora. In 2013, the Global Semiconductor Alliance recognized him with its Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
